EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is also known as “Tapping” or “emotional acupuncture”. It is a stress reduction tool which is a marriage of eastern and western therapy and philosophy. The western aspect involves Psychology in the form of aspects of exposure and cognitive therapy, whilst the eastern part involves the stimulation, by tapping gently with two fingers, on acupressure points on the upper body.
